L2R Igniting Legends Presents... Amplify: BRIDGE

In every alleyway of Naarm, you can find gems that have been hidden away from main streets.

Amplify: BRIDGE invites audiences to sample sparkling new perspectives, by presenting an artistic link between experiences and cultures.

This performing arts event offers a tasting platter of emerging voices from the West and beyond, through a collective of specialised practitioners supported by L2R Dance’s Igniting Legends program, Jerinel Bay @orijerinel, Gino Hammal @ginoyos and Phillip Pham @youphilmepham

The guest curators’ celebration of Hip-Hop culture will be filtered through the lens of the artists’ respective communities, and will feature dance, spoken word, and music. The line-up consists of local movement artists Carmen Yih, Judd/Fez and PJ, vocalist Mikado, spoken word artist Matcho, DJ and dancer Antagonize as well as streetwear brand GnomeWare and custom clothing designer, Study Room Customs.

Artists will offer a glimpse of their niche artistic roots in this accessible offering to audiences, creating a bridge between all.
