Harriet McCallum
CHAIR
Harriet’s leadership and advocacy experience spans across public health, the NGO sectors in Australia and South East Asia, local government and philanthropy. Throughout her career, Harriet has had the privilege of learning from young people's resilience, creativity and desire to contribute to their communities. Harriet believes that L2R harnesses these strengths in young people. Harriet is currently the Executive Officer of the Mannifera funding collective.
Craig Rogers
DEPUTY CHAIR
With over 20 years' experience within the arts industry across Australia, Craig has worked across multiple art forms including cultural development, large-scale event management, festival direction, public art implementation, strategy and policy development, music, youth arts and venue management. With a strong commitment to social justice and community health, Craig strives to ensure that art is a mechanism for building better communities. Craig is currently the Director of Transformation and Experience at Geelong Arts Centre.
Jackie Anders
SECRETARY
Jackie is a social worker with extensive experience in direct practice, policy and service development roles in the education, justice and welfare systems. Currently working as the Manager, Child Protection Projects at Victoria Legal Aid, she is passionate about ensuring children and young people have the opportunities and resources they need to thrive. Jackie has had a love for dance since childhood and is thrilled to be part of L2R’s work championing dance as both
a means of artistic expression
and social connection.
Angela Ilton
TREASURER
In 2017, when Angela saw the call for a Treasurer to the L2R board in her local area, she knew this was the job which would fill her community connection bucket. And she hasn’t looked back. The work that L2R does to build communities in the West absolutely resonates with Ange’s passion for dance and financial literacy. This is a natural fit for Ange. Currently a Partner at Ernst & Young and a Chartered Accountant, she also has a Post Graduate Diploma from the Victorian College of the Arts in Classical Ballet Teaching, is a previous Board Member of Australian Teachers of Dancing, and was once a co-owner of a successful dance and performing arts school in Seddon. As the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance committee – she relishes every opportunity to make financial data sound cool and relevant!
Christian Vasquez
BOARD MEMBER
Christian believes in the power brands have to bring people closer together. And as Managing Partner of Cyclone Creative Agency, he has worked with a diverse range of businesses and brands, to create meaningful connections and experiences that enrich the lives of those in their community. Being a bi-lingual, first generation Australian that was born and raised in Melbourne’s Western suburbs, Christian is passionate about bringing L2R’s mission to life through its brand and marketing communications.
Carol Ross
BOARD MEMBER
Carol has always had an underlying passion for dance, and spent 5 years on the board of KAGE Dance Theatre. Having started her career as an Engineer in the US and completing an MBA at Wharton, Carol is currently Asia Pacific HR Director for the Boston Consulting Group. Carol is inspired by L2R’s vision and the magical possibilities of using dance as a platform for connecting and engaging with young people
Sarah Luttrell
BOARD MEMBER
Sarah is a lawyer specialising in entertainment, IP and commercial law. She works as Senior Legal Counsel at Tennis Australia and has a background providing legal services to the creative industries, including clients in film, television, music and design. Originally from Adelaide, Sarah also has a degree in media and worked in research and communications in South Australia’s youth homeless, drug and alcohol and mental health services. Sarah trained as a dancer and is incredibly passionate about the arts. She loves being a part
